Mandatory Lasernet Core update: Deadline extended to 1st April 2027

We would like to inform you that the deadline for the mandatory Lasernet Core update affecting customers using Microsoft OneDrive, Outlook Mail and SharePoint modules has been extended from 30th November 2026 to 1st April 2027.

This extension provides additional time for you and your customers to complete the necessary upgrade and configuration changes. However, the update remains mandatory for customers using affected modules.

As previously communicated, following our transition from Formpipe to Lasernet Group, the Microsoft Azure app registrations used by certain Lasernet Core modules have been updated.

As a result, customers using affected modules in Lasernet Core versions 8.0 to 10.12.1 must upgrade to Lasernet Core 10.13.3 and update their configuration before the new deadline.

Which modules are affected?

This update applies if your Lasernet Core workflow uses any of the following modules:

  • OneDrive input
  • OneDrive output
  • Outlook Mail input
  • Outlook Mail output
  • SharePoint output, where the module connects through Graph API and user authentication

The upgrade requirement also applies to customers using legacy versions of Lasernet, including version 9 or earlier, where these modules are in use.

If the required update and configuration changes are not completed by 1st April 2027, affected Lasernet Core systems will stop working.

What you need to do

We encourage you to continue reviewing your customer base and proactively identifying any customers who may be affected by these changes.

Where applicable, please work with your customers to:

  1. Plan and complete the upgrade to Lasernet Core 10.13.3.
  2. Reauthorise the affected modules using the updated Microsoft Azure app registrations.
  3. Test and redeploy the updated Lasernet Core configuration.

To help determine whether a customer environment is affected, our Knowledge Base article provides guidance on checking the relevant Microsoft Azure enterprise applications and identifying affected modules within customer workflows.

The reauthorisation and configuration process is a short task, with step-by-step instructions available here:

Please continue to prioritise affected customers

Although the deadline has been extended to 1st April 2027, we strongly recommend completing the required changes well in advance to allow sufficient time for testing and to minimise the risk of disruption to customer document workflows.

If your customers have already completed the upgrade and configuration changes, no further action is required.

If additional assistance is needed, please contact the Lasernet Group support team by creating a ticket at support.lasernetgroup.com.

We appreciate your continued support in helping customers complete this mandatory update and ensuring their Lasernet Core services continue to operate without interruption.

Kind regards,

Lasernet Group
